What kind of EV cars can charge at these chargers?
Any plug-in EV that has a CHAdeMO or CCS (type 2) DC fast charging port. Note that not all EV’s are capable of DC fast charging.

How do I use the charging station?
- Firstly park your EV with the charge socket within reach of the connector, and turn off the EV.
- Select the charging protocol on the touch screen – select 1 for CHAdeMO, or 2 for CCS.
- Connect the applicable charge connector to the EV’s charge socket.
- On the touchscreen, press start – the charger will begin charging the EV and will indicate the progress on the screen

- To stop charging, select stop on the touchscreen. Take the connector out of the EV and put it back in the connector holder on the charger.
When connecting or disconnecting DC connector:
- Handle cables and connectors with care;
- Do not drop the cables or connectors;
- Place them back in their respective holders.
What if there is an emergency?
- Push the emergency stop button – the charger stops the operation and displays a message
- Call 0508 VECTOR (0508 832 867).
What if the emergency stop button is accidentally pushed?
- Check that the situation is safe (i.e. that the emergency stop button was accidentally pushed)
- Turn the emergency button clockwise, and:
- The emergency button will release and the charger is reactivated;
- After a few seconds the message disappears from the screen and the charger will return to normal operation.
How do I use the standard chargers?
Just like you use your EV charger at home. Plug it in and push the start button. Push the Stop button when you are done. There is also an emergency stop button.
How much does a charging session cost?
Currently, we are not charging for the use of our EV chargers. When we do start charging, the rates will be displayed on each charging station.
What happens if I can’t take the connector out of my EV?
Some EV's lock the connector. If this happens you will need to unlock all doors of the EV or use the ‘unlock charge connector button’ on the car key if present.
How long will it take to charge my EV?
It depends on the EV. On average 15-25 minutes at a rapid charger and 6-8 hours at a standard charger.
Can I use the charger if it is wet or it is raining?
The chargers are designed for use outdoors and are safe to use in the rain. Your EV will also be designed to charge safely even if the charger you connect is wet.

Who do I call if I notice a problem or damage with/to the EV chargers?
If a charge outlet is damaged do not use the damaged charge outlet. We’d appreciate it if you could let us know so we can get a crew out to repair it.
