Auckland’s Harbour Bridge will shine bright in support of Pride festival with a rainbow-hued light show starting on Sunday 11 February.

Vector Lights for Auckland Pride will sparkle for three minutes each hour from 9pm to midnight until Saturday 17 February. The kilometre-wide solar-powered light installation represents Vector and Auckland Council’s support for the festival, and for Auckland’s rainbow communities.

Vector Lights for Auckland Pride – what you need to know:

• The Auckland Pride show launches at 9pm on Sunday 11 February to coincide with Ending HIV Big Gay Out, and concludes on Saturday 17 February.

• It is three minutes in duration, and will repeat on the hour until midnight (9pm, 10pm, 11pm and midnight) 

• Vector Lights for Auckland Pride is a visual experience without accompanying audio – though we’re sure Aucklanders can select their own favourite music to suit it perfectly!
