Vector Lights is celebrating 100 Years of Unity Through Sport

4 November, 12 November, and 13 November - 8pm to midnight

Auckland comes alive with sport, culture and celebration as New Zealand and India mark 100

years of sporting connection.

In 1926, an Indian Army hockey team toured New Zealand, beginning a sporting relationship that

continues a century later.

This spring, Auckland will help celebrate 100 Years of Unity Through Sport with international

fixtures, cultural experiences, community events and business connections across the region.

As part of the celebrations, the Auckland Harbour Bridge will light up in recognition of this special

milestone and support key events taking place across Auckland:

🏏4 November – BLACKCAPS v India

⚽12 November – All Whites v India

🤝12-13 November – New Zealand India Business Summit

We celebrate the enduring partnership between New Zealand and India and the unifying power of

sport to bring people together.
Vector Lights can be viewed from a range of locations around Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, including Westhaven Marina, Silo Park and Little Shoal Bay. Discover the events and experiences taking place across Auckland and be part of the celebrations.

Vector Lights for Fire & Emergency NZ

9-14 November, 8.15pm to midnight

Vector Lights lights up in red, blue and yellow for Fire & Emergency NZ. If there's a fire in your house, you'll have under 3 minutes to get out before the fire becomes unsurvivable. A working smoke alarm gives you the warning you need to get out, stay out and call 111. Install smoke alarms in every bedroom, every living area, every hallway. Test them every month and make sure everyone in your home knows your escape plan.
