Vector is happy to review applications for artwork to be painted on our equipment in the community. This can be made by individual artists or communities might come together and engage an artist to develop a design that can be displayed on a transformer or even a substation wall.

As part of the application process, Vector will need to approve the proposed artwork and inspect the equipment before and during the painting process. Any artwork will need to be completed in accordance with our health and safety protocols.  The artist is also responsible for ensuring that the artwork is completed in accordance with any applicable regulations (see below for some useful links).

Vector does not take responsibility for restoring damaged or ageing artwork. If artwork painted on our equipment is damaged or needs to be replaced, the artwork will be lost. If the artwork is graffitied, we cannot guarantee that the graffiti removal will not damage the artwork. If damaged or graffitied artwork cannot be repaired, it will be painted over by Vector.
