McNab substation fire update 6 Nov 1:30pm

Power has been fully restored this morning after the fire at our McNab substation in Penrose yesterday afternoon.

One of the crew remains in hospital receiving care and the other three are back at work. The welfare of all four remains our priority.

Parts of the substation sustained significant damage in the fire. We’ll install a temporary transformer to help reinforce the power supply until permanent repairs are completed.

An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
