Transit is constructing a new motorway extension from the Manukau Events Centre to Puhinui Rd as part of their Western Ring Route project. Vector is relocating a number of power poles, line and underground cables from the route of the new motorway.



Streets affected by this work include: Great South Rd, Wiri Station Rd, Lambie Dr, Plunkett Ave, Nesdale Ave and Roscommon Rd.



Project timing: May 2007 to mid2010..

The overall project should not disrupt the power supply in the area. If a brief power outage is required we will notify affected customers in advance of this occurring.
