Sandspit substation

It has been identified that a substation is required in Sandspit. The proposed substation location is 2 Mahurangi East Road.
 
Construction is expected to start in one or two years.

The substation will help improve the reliability and quality of the electricity supply, and provide additional capacity in the area to support future growth.  

Vector will be lodging a Notice of Requirement with the Council to Designate the site.   For more information about the substation, please see the Q&As.
