Project File

Vector is undertaking a cable relocation project requested by Auckland Council as part of the as part of the Auckland Art Gallery refurbishment at Kitchener Street.

Streets affected by this work include: Kitchener Street (Wellesley Street end)

Project timing: 1 April – 31 May 2011

The project work will be carried out in sections throughout the area and should only directly affect the road frontage outside each property for a small amount of this time.

Hours of work
Vector’s hours of work will generally be Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm.

How is the work carried out?
Kitchener Street will be closed on 16-17 April and 7-8 May to complete the work as efficiently as possible. There should be minimal disruption to traffic and pedestrians at all other times throughout this project. In the event that the work will affect any driveways, we will consult with affected customers before we begin work.

Will the power supply be affected?
The power supply in the area should not be affected by work. In the unlikely event that a planned power outage is required, affected customers will be notified in advance of this occurring.

Thank you for your cooperation
Every effort will be made to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum. We apologise, in advance, for any inconvenience this project may cause and thank you for your patience and cooperation while the work is underway.
