The building construction has been completed. The landscaping work is now being carried out and should be completed by September, weather dependant.

Vector is constructing a new substation at 220 Kyle Rd, Greenhithe.

 

The substation will help improve the reliability and quality of the electricity supply, and provide additional capacity in the area to support future growth.

 

Vector owns this property and has designation on the site to build a substation.   Construction will start on 6 July 2009 and will take approximately 10 months to complete.
