Ellerslie substation

It has been identified that a substation is required in Ellerslie. Vector has purchased a property at 15 Tecoma St, Ellerslie for the substation.
 
Construction is expected to start in one or two years.
 
The substation will help improve the reliability and quality of the electricity supply, and provide additional capacity in the area to support future growth.  

Vector will be lodging with Auckland City Council a Notice of Requirement to Designate the site.   For more information about the substation, please see the Q&As.
