Vector Director Resigns (08/05/2012)

Vector, New Zealand’s largest owner of electricity and gas infrastructure assets, today announced the resignation of independent director Tony Carter from the Board, effective from 15 May 2012.

Announcing the resignation, Chairman Michael Stiassny said Mr Carter had signalled his intention to resign at Vector’s 2011 AGM, due to a number of other board commitments.

Mr Stiassny thanked Mr Carter for his contribution over the past five years and wished him well in his future endeavours.

An announcement regarding a new director will be made in due course.
