Vector advises that Bryan Crawford has decided not to take up the appointment of Divisional CEO Gas with the company and as a consequence will be leaving Vector at the end of this week.

The company has appointed Michael Cummings to the role of Acting Divisional CEO Gas effective Monday 21st November 2005.

Michael has significant gas industry experience, both in New Zealand and overseas, which has included a range of regulatory and commercial roles for such companies as British Gas and AGL NZ. Prior to Vector’s acquisition of NGC, Michael had accountability for NGC’s gas processing, transmission and distribution businesses and was instrumental in establishing the company’s LPG business – ‘On gas’. Michael has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Edinburgh.

The integration of Vector and NGC’s gas businesses is continuing.
