Vector's electricity distribution charges cover the cost of transmitting electricity across Transpower’s national grid and distributing electricity to you across our local distribution network.
Our distribution charges are billed to you by your energy retailer. This avoids the additional expense of both Vector and your retailer establishing a billing system, and the need for you to make two separate payments. If you would like to discuss how our line charges are applied to your bill, please contact your
electricity retailer.
The price schedules below are applicable from 1 April 2012.
We have different pricing schedules depending on where you live and what type of customer you are.

Changing your Vector pricing plan
Our pricing plans depend on the connection type and metering configuration at your property. It may be possible for you to change your pricing plan, but you may need to make changes to your connection. To ask about changing your pricing plan, please contact your
electricity retailer.
