Details of Vectors bonds that are listed and quoted on the New Zealand Debt Market (NZDX) can be found below:

Capital Bond

On 5 November 2002 Vector issued Capital Bonds with a term of four years. On 15 December 2006 (first election date) Vector reset the terms of its NZD$307.205 million Capital Bonds. The key terms of the reset bonds include:

  • Next election date: 15 June 2012
  • Interest rate: 8%
  • Interest payment dates: 15 June and 15 December
  • NZDX ticker: VCT040 (Original capital bonds ticker: VCT010)

The current terms and conditions can be found in the Vector Capital Bonds Explanatory Notes and Deed of amendment of Capital Trust Deed 2006.

On 3 May 2012, Vector distributed an Election Notice to those persons holding Capital Bonds on 30 April 2012. From the Election Date of 15 June 2012, the Capital Bonds will be subject to new conditions, including a new election date of 15 June 2012 and a new interest rate. Details of the new conditions can be found in the Vector Capital Bonds Explanatory Notes and Deed of Amendment of Capital Bond Trust Deed 2012.

Retail Bond

We also issued NZD$150 million retail bonds on 29 May 2009. The key terms are:

  • Maturity date: 15 October 2014
  • Interest rate: 7.8%
  • Interest payment dates: 15 April and 15 October
  • NZDX ticker: VCT050
